Ala Kheir
Ala Kheir is a Sudanese photographer and visual artist based in Khartoum. He has been working as a freelance photographer since 2010, and his work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Guardian, BBC News, and National Geographic.
He is known for his documentary photography which focuses on social issues in Sudan, including displacement, poverty, and the effects of war. His work has been exhibited internationally in countries such as Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mali, Italy, Qatar, Germany, and the United States
Metche Ja'afar
Metche Ja’afar is a Sudanese photographer and visual artist based in Khartoum. She has been capturing the beauty of her home country through her lens since 2012. Her work has been featured in exhibitions, publications, and online platforms around the world.
She is best known for her documentary-style photography which captures the everyday life of Sudanese people and their culture. Metche’s work focuses on themes such as identity, displacement, and resilience. She believes that photography can be used to tell stories that are often overlooked or ignored by mainstream media outlets.
